Thetis Island

West Coast unprecedented natural beauty

Thetis Island is among the smallest of British Columbia’s west coast archipelago, and is home to our province’s oldest Arbutus tree - a species found only in this area. The 2,500 acre island is covered in lush, thriving forest that houses more wildlife than development and has become a haven for its few year round residents. With only a handful of paved roads and a small community of conscious individuals, Thetis Island has been naturally maintained as a sanctuary for old growth Douglas Firs and prosperous native plants.

The innate beauty of Canada’s Gulf Islands has been able to flourish due to the minuscule impact made by the people who come here looking to escape from their busy lives. People come to Thetis Island, some for generations, for its peace and tranquility, unprecedented natural beauty and unimaginable history. Situated amidst such beautiful landscape is Domaine Jasmin, a vineyard and winery dedicated to showcasing such pure beauty through the grapes grown naturally and processed with minimal intervention in the gravity flow winery. Our wines reflect the natural beauty and purity that is Thetis Island.
